Trouble shooting: No incoming messages
Error-symptoms:
The SMS Server does not receive incoming messages. The Inbox is empty.
Possible cause for this error:
The SMS Server uses the wrong memory to receive incoming messages. In some GSM phones there are two locations where incoming SMS messages are stored: the SIM card and the phone memory. By default OZEKI SMS uses the SIM card. If your phone saves the incoming messages to the phone memory, you have to tell OZEKI SMS to use the phone memory instead of the SIM card. You can do this by clicking on the "Port Settings" button and changing the prefered memory to "Device".
Possible cause for this error:
You did not switch on the receiving feature in the device configuration form. Make sure you put a checkmark in the "Use for SMS receiving" checkbox. (Figure 2)
